Welcome to Motley Junction
This is Motley in the Shed. The sharpe curves work! Hornby 0-4-0’s make it round as does the Dapol/Hornby J94.
On Motley in the Shed space is very tight but it looks right.
The Pug will go round every tight curve. The coaches are from a Desk Railway Set the National Railway Museum were selling a few years ago. They “waddle” behind the loco like ducks following!
Loco named after my dad who died this year (2014). It’s aTrix body on a Tri-ang chassis.
The top photo is looking to the right if you stood in front of the layout. This is the view to the left. Still very tight curves. All PECO 100 track..
The other end of the layout with the tight curves. Oil siding in bottom left corner
The Motley Junction High Level Preservation Society was formed when the line over the station was closed in the early 1960’s. They are making very slow progress to establish themselves.
The goods shed viewed from the back wall.
This engine shed was added in the summer of 2013 as the original shed was geting over-whelmed with locos.
A quiet minute on Motley in The Shed..
A nice rural railway scene. I like the Dapol Pugs. They go very well round the very tight curves of the layout.
A view that you can’t see from the front of the layout..
The steam shed as of July 2019.
Fiddle Yard. A little chaotic!
Created a run round for the coaching stock used for the Branch line so that the engine can shunt the train when the mainline is being used. Offers up new operating opportunities.
Looking into the Shed early 2020. Motley In The Shed. Stock boxes are for the Garden Railways (2) and Motley End is above on the left.
