Welcome to Motley Junction
I write children's books about The Magnificent Dancing Circle Snails. As of Nov 19 there are four books available on Amazon. I am a Railway Modeller and so decided to name some locos after the main characters. The stock runs on Motley Preserved.
Tri-ang saddle tank in EWS gold and black. Named 'Circle Snails'. Home made name plates. No 11 as there are eleven Circle Snails.
Hornby pannier tank. 'Snail Guardians'. No 3 as there were originally only three SG's
Was as Hornby James the Red Engine. There are five Thunder Snails so No5 on the tender was ideal! SAG! (Thunder Snails Are Go!)
A Tri-ang Nellie.. 'Lady Ida' or Lady I. She is the Boss of the Thunder Snails and flies a bright pink Thunder Snail 7. The pink is a Network South East colour.
Tri-ang Dock Shunter. Re-wheeled, 'Sniffer Snails'. Of all the characters I have invented I love the Sniffer Snails.
Hornby 4-wheel coaches in NSE pink.
Tri-ang caboose but shortened. To be used a brake van for Circle Train stock.
Lima Mk I brake. Change brown to pink.
The 'Parsley Family' with 'Snail Guardians' on the tender. European loco.
Lima loco. I named it 'Harvey' some years ago. Now becomes a Circle Rail loco.
Lima. Nala although you will see I have corrected the name plate. No r in it! Again names some years ago and now a Circle Rail loco.
Mainline loco. Britannia 70047 was never named. It is now and is a Circle Rail loco. Ancient Tri-ang version.

Whittlesea, spelt the original way as the Fen town was situated by a large lake before the Fens were drained in the 16th century. The number is the SDT dialing tone for Whittlesey.
